Derek Nelson elected as Liveryman at WCA Livery Ceremony
4th November 2019
Having received the Freedom of the City of London earlier this year, on 24 October 2019, Derek Nelson was proud to be elected as a Liveryman. Derek took Livery with the Worshipful Company of Arbitrators and was ‘enclothed’ at a court ceremony held at the historic Fishmongers Hall followed by the installation of Margaret Bickford-Smith QC as Master.
Granted a Royal Charter in 2012, the WCA’s members are drawn from all forms of private dispute resolution, including arbitration, adjudication, expert determination, mediation, conciliation, etc. with a wide range of experience, from construction and engineering, through shipping and trade, to family and consumer issues.
The WCA’s charitable trust supports a variety of causes, with an emphasis on education and Derek is honoured to be associated with those aims.
