Ms. Heider has over 15 years of consulting experience in intellectual property and commercial damages, focusing on matters involving quantifying damages, identifying monetary compensation, and analyzing other economic issues in intellectual property disputes in U.S. District Courts. She also has experience performing economic analysis of issues related to domestic industry, bonding, and remedy in intellectual property disputes before the U.S. International Trade Commission. Ms. Heider’s work has spanned many industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, semiconductors, consumer electronics, software, financial institutions, and telecommunications.

At HKA, Ms. Heider will research and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, develop financial models from transactional and financial data, perform valuation and damages assessments, determine intellectual property royalties, author expert reports, and support other expert testifiers.

Prior to joining HKA, Ms. Heider was an independent consultant with ASQ Consulting Group, which HKA acquired in September 2023, and a vice president at Analysis Group, Inc. She earned her MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management and her BA in economics and public policy with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to beginning her consulting career, Ms. Heider performed research for the FDIC in Washington, DC. She is a published co-author in the FDIC Banking Review and les Nouvelles, Journal of the Licensing Executives Society.
