HKA welcomes Julia Humpidge who joins our Forensic Technical Services team in Europe. Julia will be based at the London office at Victoria Embankment.

Julia is a highly experienced project manager and engineer with over 30 years of experience in the global engineering and construction industries. Julia has gathered knowledge and experience on major, complex projects spanning oil and gas, power and utilities and chemicals sectors throughout UK, Europe and the Far East.

Julia started her career with EPC contractors, initially as a process engineer, before joining a process technology licensor where she travelled to multiple operating sites to trouble shoot and start-up licensed units.

For the next 10 years Julia was based at an oil refinery in Switzerland including overseeing an EPC contractor during design, construction, commissioning and start-up of 5 new units. For the past 18 years she has worked for EPC contractors holding roles including engineer, project engineer, project manager, head of engineering department and vice president of project execution.

Julia has extensive experience of delivering projects through the design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases including developing and leading multi-disciplinary teams and carrying out project reviews and the successful implementation of stage-gate processes.

Our European operations continue to expand as part of our growth strategy. Julia is an experienced consultant with outstanding knowledge and experience gathered from working on major, complex projects spanning the oil and gas, power and utilities and chemicals sectors throughout UK, Europe, the Middle East and Far East. She is a significant addition to our forensic technical services in the region, and I am delighted to have her on board.
