Igor Corelj, Director & Quantum Expert (Middle East) HKA

Igor is a Structural Engineer and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with 14 years of experience in the international construction industry. He has acted as a quantum Expert on several occasions and has assisted on numerous complex engineering and construction arbitration matters, including attendance at multiple hearings.

Igor’s experience includes invaluable on-site contracting experience, commercial management of large infrastructure projects at head office level and consultancy services at all stages and aspects of the project lifecycle.
Igor has been based in the Middle East since 2009, during which he has led large multidisciplinary teams with great success and has worked in many capacities across the supply chain giving him thorough insight into the diversity of contractual arrangements and issues arising out of them.
By combining detailed technical knowledge, international commercial management experience and awareness of legal issues, Igor can articulate clear and methodical explanations of the key issues relating to the quantification and valuation of various claims. Igor has been recognised for his consummate professionalism in adopting an independent standpoint for the analysis of claims submitted in formal dispute proceedings.
