Ahmed Ibrahim Mohammad Al Aqta, Public Relations Officer
Ahmed Ibrahim Mohammad Al Aqta joins the firm as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) based in Jeddah.
Ahmed has extensive experience in government relations and support. He has an established track record in handling continuous improvement projects, and building excellent relationships with Government officials to ensure projects run smoothly within governmental requirements.
Daniel Chua, Consultant
Daniel Chua joins the firm as Consultant based in Kuala Lumpur.
Daniel is a claims consultant with over six years of experience in the construction industry. He was previously involved in two iconic railway projects in Malaysia. His areas of expertise include contract administration and contractual claim assessment.
Lisa Dobbin, Consultant
Lisa Dobbin joins HKA as Consultant based in Glasgow.
Lisa is a chartered surveyor with over seven years of experience in the field of quantity surveying within a consultancy environment. Lisa has experience across a variety of projects in both the public and private sector, including infrastructure, education, commercial, retail, residential and industrial.
Leon Fellas, Associate Director
Leon Fellas joins the firm as Associate Director based in London.
Leon is a chartered accountant (ACA) with 10 years of industry experience. He specialises in contentious valuations and complex damages assessments in civil litigation, international arbitration and expert determinations. Leon has worked on matters before the UK High Court, UK Family Division, Cayman Islands Grand Court, Singapore International Commercial Court, Family Court of Australia as well as LCIA, ICC, SCAI and ICSID arbitration forums and under UNCITRAL rules and in mediations.
Fred Gershberg, Project Manager
Fred Gershberg joins us as a Project Manager based in Sydney, and will be leading the Picnic Point High School development project.
Fred has extensive project and construction management experience. His portfolio of work includes over a dozen education projects including the Ultimo Temporary School led by HKA. Fred also brings experience in residential, health and transport infrastructure works across NSW and has undertaken extensive industry training in OHS certification.
Lewis Jones, Associate Consultant
Lewis Jones joins the firm as an Associate Consultant based in Bahrain.
Lewis is a chartered quantity surveyor with over eight years of experience in the construction industry in civil engineering, water and wastewater, and the renewable energy sectors. He is experienced in identifying and quantifying claims for disruption, prolongation and breaches of contract as well as the preparation of defence claims.
Nicola Jones, Managing Consultant
Nicola Jones joins HKA as Managing Consultant based in London.
Nicola is a chartered accountant (ACA) who has been working in forensic accounting for over five years across investigations, disputes, forensic audit and anti-bribery and corruption compliance projects. She has worked on projects across a range of sectors including oil and gas, technology, not-for-profit and aerospace, with clients across various geographies including South America, Europe, and the Middle East. Her experience includes performing analysis of complex information and preparing expert witness reports.
Anna Lam, Director
Anna Lam joins the firm as Director based in Los Angeles.
Anna is a CPA and CFE with “Big 4” firm public accounting experience. She is experienced in auditing and accounting; specifically trained in financial accounting analysis, financial investigations, and litigation support. Anna has experience in performing the role of a senior manager in leading and managing client engagements.
Olesya Prantyuk, Associate Director
Olesya Prantyuk joins the firm as an as Associate Director in the forensic accounting and commercial damages practice based in London.
Olesya is a Ukrainian and Russian speaking certified chartered accountant with more than 10 years’ experience in finance and accounting. She has acted as project manager on fraud investigation matters and damages calculations (valuations, loss of profits and wasted costs calculations), and is experienced in the preparation of expert reports. Her experience in forensic accounting covers a wide array of matters within the oil and gas, logistics, retail, aerospace, mining, precious metals, financial services and energy sectors. Olesya has also worked on High Court litigations, as well as investor-state and commercial arbitrations on behalf of claimants and defendants.
Anand Udayakumar, Associate Consultant
Anand Udayakumar joins HKA as an Associate Consultant based in Dubai.
Anand is a qualified lawyer with over six years of international experience in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has primarily dealt with issues and claims surrounding certification and payment, delay and disruption, defects, loss and/or expense claims and contract termination for major standard form (FIDIC included) and bespoke contracts.
HKA also welcomed Forensic Technical Expert, Kourosh Kayvani, Delay & Disruption Expert, Stephen Wright, Government Contracts Expert, Rob Gardner, Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages Expert, Roula Harfouche, and Recruitment Manager for the Americas Group, Heather Trilio.
