Kate Wood, Partner, Chief People Officer
Carol Allen, Senior Accounts Payable Clerk
Warrington, UK
Carol Allen joins our Daresbury office as a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk. She has spent the last 16-years as a Purchase Ledger Supervisor for a worldwide blue-chip metal recycling company.
Preceding this, Carol spent a number of years in financial roles for various global companies, bringing her wealth of knowledge and experience to HKA. She also holds various City & Guilds qualifications in information technology.
Charlotte Elliott, Library and Information Manager

Charlotte Elliott graduated from Loughborough University with an MA in Information and Library Studies and has a wide range of work experience within the information field and is looking forward to her career at HKA.
Avery Hansen, Business Administrator
San Francisco, CA, USA
Avery Hansen is a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University with a background in psychology and marketing. In college, she gained administrative experience interning for a Nashville real estate agency. She also freelanced as a social media manager for local businesses in Nashville and the SF Bay Area. She joins the San Francisco office as the Business Support Administrator.

Genaro Lorza, Associate Consultant
Las Vegas, NV, USA
Genaro joins the Las Vegas office as an Associate Consultant after receiving a bachelor’s degree of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He brings experience in project management, renewable energy, and aerospace as well as aeronautical engineering. He is passionate about being part of HKA and develop his knowledge in construction as well as global consultancy.
Ash Pandey, Senior Consultant
Sydney, NSW, Australia
Ash Pandey is a qualified civil engineer with experience in providing strategic, commercial, and financial advice to government and private sector clients, primarily relating to greenfield infrastructure projects. He has previously worked with PwC and RPS Group and is also an IPFA Future Leaders Network committee member.
Ash is also completing a Master of Business Administration at the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of NSW.
Liliia Pylypchyk, Consultant
Dubai, UAE
Liliia Pylypchyk has over 5 years of experience working in the construction industry in the Middle East. Over the past two years, Liliia focused on pre-dispute advisory and assisting delay expert witnesses in arbitration proceedings across various projects, including buildings, transportation & infrastructure, resources, and power & utilities. She holds an MSc in Civil Engineering and is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Donna Shearer, Global Learning, Development and Succession Manager, Asia Pacific & EMEA

Donna Shearer is an experienced learning and development professional with significant experience in designing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies that align to business objectives, organizational excellence and high performance including, leadership and high potential programs, talent and succession management, career development, coaching and team development.
She is dedicated to empowering employees and teams to unlock their full potential and has worked across a variety of industries, including law, banking, trading & money broking, insurance, and media.
Collaboration is at the heart of her approach, and she look forward to working with colleagues across HKA to enable a high performing environment for individuals to thrive, achieve their goals and make a meaningful impact on the success of HKA now and in the future.
Marcio Silveira, Senior Office Manager
London, UK
Marcio has a degree in Sport Sciences and completed a masters in Biochemistry in Brazil, changing career to work in Admin / Office Management on coming to London in 2017.
Marcio has previously worked for Shazam (the music app), Management Consulting Group, Royal Haskoning DHV (Engineering), and just prior to joining HKA, StoneX Financial Ltd (Finance services) London, as Office Manager.
Marcio was a semi-professional volleyball player, now with a passion for running and padel player and is also an avid baker and animal lover.
Kevin Smedley, Associate Consultant
New York, NY, USA
Kevin recently graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Statistics. Kevin rejoins HKA as a full-time employee after his Government Contracts internship in Washington, D.C. last summer. He looks forward to increasing his expertise in the Government Contracts practice and forming new connections in the New York office.
John Stewart, Legal Counsel
London, UK
John joins HKA in London as Legal Counsel. He has broad experience that includes telecommunications, anti-trust, AML, risk and compliance, and national security.
He is an adaptable lawyer, having been admitted as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand before moving to the United Kingdom. John supports the business in relation to general legal matters.
Lillian Tran, Document Controller
Sydney, NSW, Australia
Lillian is a tech-savvy and experienced Document Controller with extensive experience in Project Management, Procurement, Financial, Document Control and Reporting. As a Contract Management Specialist, Lillian is experienced in the implementation of new contract management systems and processes. Lillian has previously worked for the City of Sydney and ABB Australia.
Tim Whitcher, Management Consultant
Dubai, UAE
Tim Whitcher is a RICS chartered quantity surveyor with over 15 years of professional experience. He achieved first-class honors in his quantity surveying degree while working full-time as a quantity surveyor. During his final year of degree studies, Tim commenced his RICS structured training to proudly become a chartered member of the RICS.
Prior to joining HKA, Tim was a senior quantity surveyor with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy. He is due to commence his master’s degree in construction law and dispute resolution shortly and is a keen advocate for business development and networking.
Lee Winters, Document Controller
Sydney, NSW, Australia
Lee Winters is an experienced Document Controller with over 20 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has worked in different public & private organisations including CPB, ARTC, John Holland and Sydney Trains. During this time, he has honed his skills in different systems including Aconex and TeamBinder, and prides himself in educating stakeholders of all levels in Document Control.
Daniel Zorya, Associate Consultant
Vancouver, BC, Canada
Daniel Zorya has joined HKA in the Vancouver office as an Associate Consultant. He completed his Bachelor’s in Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia and he completed his Master’s in Engineering with the specialization of Project & Construction Management from the University of British Columbia.
He has experience working as a project coordinator for a general contractor specializing in residential projects, and for another general contractor specializing in civil projects (mainly wastewater treatment plants). He also worked with HKA for two terms as an intern assisting on various mandates both in Canada and the United States including projects such as mixed-use development projects and civil projects.
