Donato Cassell, Expert Support Consultant, London
Donato holds a BSc in Economics and has a diverse set of skills acquired through working across multiple sectors and industries in the UK and the Caribbean. He has experience working as a project coordinator, and monitoring and evaluating large government projects in the Caribbean.
Peter Gillies, Managing Consultant, London
Peter is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimating, commercial and contract management in the UK and Europe. From his onsite involvement through to feasibility estimating and project close out, Peter has developed an in-depth understanding and practical approach to the construction industry and its associated sectors. Peter has gained notable experience in project establishment and delivery spanning across a wide range of sectors such as rail, aviation, buildings, highways and utilities.
Fionna Goh, Senior Consultant, Kuala Lumpur
Fionna is a contracts and cost professional with over 20 years’ experience in the construction and engineering industry. She has worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects in the Middle East and Asia in civil, MEP, oil & gas, and infrastructure works. Fionna joins us from INTADR DMCC located in the DMCC Free Zone where she assisted in the drafting of final awards and termination orders. She was also involved in litigation procedures with the DIFC Courts. She has relocated from the UAE to Malaysia.
Andy Hagan, Director, Wellington
Andy Hagan has significant public sector experience in strategic, commercial, financial, and operational management built from over 15 years at the New Zealand Treasury, including leading Treasury’s Financial and Commercial Group for two years. Immediately prior to joining HKA, Andrew provided independent advice to government agencies on a range of balance sheet, financial and infrastructure funding and financing issues. Andy is based in Wellington.
Jason Krupp, Director, Wellington
Jason has extensive advocacy experience in infrastructure, funding, and urban development and in the policy areas of resource management, local government, three waters, freshwater and climate change adaptation, particularly as they relate to horizontal infrastructure, urban development, and housing affordability. He joins us from the Three Waters National Transition Unit within the Department of Internal Affairs NZ.
Daniel Latter, Associate Director, Houston
Daniel Latter is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of pipeline construction industry experience with closely held growth-oriented companies. Daniel’s areas of expertise include accounting/finance, legal matters, and business development. He joins the Houston office as Associate Director.
Sandeep Nimse, Managing Consultant, Dubai
Sandeep joins as Managing Consultant into the Dubai team.Sandeep is a chartered quantity surveyor with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry across various sectors, including buildings, industrial & manufacturing, and transportation infrastructure. Sandeep also holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) in Construction Law and Arbitration and is an RICS Registered Expert Witness.
Sam Sahni, Senior Consultant, Sydney
Sam is a civil and mining engineer with technical and delivery experience on multi-disciplinary transport, infrastructure and building projects across regional and urban New South Wales. He joins us from John Holland, where he worked on key iconic projects like WestConnex, Sydney Metro Northwest and Sydney Metro City & Southwest. Sam is based in Sydney.
Oskari Saimala, Associate Expert Support Consultant, Glasgow
Oskari has 9 years administrative management experience and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree which he obtained in 2017. He joins us from the Aalto University School of Business where he was providing administrative support to the accounting and marketing teams in Finland. His strong administrative management skills meant he was a valued member of the team and won awards for best secretary and team player.
Thomas Shearn, Senior Consultant, Durham
Thomas is a quantity surveyor with 16 years’ experience, during which time he has worked in various industries in the UK, representing both clients contractors, on projects up to £60m. He is chartered through the RICS and holds both an MSc in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management, as well as an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration.
Victoria Tyrie, Senior Consultant, London
Victoria holds an MSc in Quantity Surveying and has over seven years’ experience in the construction industry working alongside experts, assisting with the analysis of data, generation of schedules and drafting of documents in preparation of quantum expert reports. Victoria has experience in various sectors ranging from high value large scale international oil and gas projects to commercial and bespoke residential developments. She also has experience in various forms of dispute resolution such as international arbitration and domestic UK adjudication.
Yip Xiaojung, Consultant, Kuala Lumpur
Yip comes from a Quantity Surveying background, with several years of experience in the construction industry. He has been involved in several notable projects in Malaysia and Singapore with iconic high-rise buildings, island reclamation, rail and infrastructure projects. Yip joins us from a claims consultancy firm.
