Kate Wood, Chief People Officer
Margaret Asiedu-Darquah, Expert Support Consultant, London
Margaret has recently joined as an Expert Support Consultant within the Energy, Resources and Industrial team. She has qualifications in Economics and Management Studies and worked in project and business operations before joining HKA.
Claire Bamford Rock, Global Total Reward Manager, London
Claire is a CIPD qualified HR professional with experience and expertise across a range of HR disciplines. In Total Reward, she has delivered and implemented pay banding systems, remuneration policies and a range of employee benefits and her passion is using Total Reward to help employees and businesses thrive. Most recently she worked with NCS Trust, a not-for-profit organisation, established to shape, support, champion, and lead a thriving National Citizen Service in the UK.
Ali Cherri, Senior Consultant, Dubai
Ali is a civil engineer from Canada with over eight years of experience in the construction industry. He specialises in performing forensic delay analyses on mega construction projects and is proficient with quantifying damages resulting from delay and disruption events. His project experience includes tower buildings, bridges, hospitals, schools, mining refineries and hydroelectric generating stations in North America, Middle East and South East Asia. Ali is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.
Ahmad Chit, Director, Dubai
Ahmad is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Canada with over 13 years of experience in the forensic, assurance, and compliance fields. He is experienced in providing forensic accounting, fraud analysis, quantification of damages and accountants’ negligence assessments. From North America to Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, Ahmad has extensive and diverse investigation and dispute experience. As a forensic expert, Ahmad has worked on a variety of engagements for regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, courts and tribunals, legal counsel, and large financial institutions.
Brian Connolly, Associate Technical Director, London
Brian is a chartered architect and laboratory design specialist with over 20 years of construction industry experience designing and delivering large and complex architectural projects with a particular focus on the life science, technology and commercial sectors. His broad experience spans across numerous industry typologies, including major laboratory, high containment biological (BRF/BSU) research facilities, higher education, commercial workplace and corporate headquarters, government, hospitality, leisure and residential.
Ashling Oberoi, Business Support Administrator, Melbourne
Ashling is an innovative and effective problem solver with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. She was the owner and operator of her own business in Werribee, Victoria.
Michelle O’Mahony, Associate Director, Qatar
We are delighted to welcome Michelle O’Mahony into the Qatar Team as an Associate Director. Michelle has a BSc in Construction Management and Engineering from the University of Limerick and she is currently completing an LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration from Robert Gordon University. Michelle has over 10 years’ construction experience in Ireland and across the Middle East. Having worked on a broad range of projects, Michelle has gained extensive experience in administrating construction contracts including FIDIC, PWA and Bespoke Forms of Contract.
Michelle has experience in both pre- and post-contract stages of projects and also has extensive experience drafting claim submissions in connection with delay and disruption events, as well as the preparation of quantum calculations.
Rebecca Ou, Practice Coordinator, Sydney
Rebecca is detail-oriented and has strong administration and office management skills. She joins us from property investment company Ironfish.
Mohammad Yadollahi, Associate Technical Director, London
Mohammad is a Chartered Structural and Civil Engineer with over 15 years industry experience, predominantly in ports and maritime sector. He has worked as project director, project manager and design engineer for a wide range of infrastructure projects worldwide. Mohammad’s key skills include project management, contract management and engineering design.
Stephen Yeaman, Lead Consultant, Sydney
Stephen is a highly experienced procurement professional with all-round expertise in pre and post contract stages for both the public and private sectors. He joins us from London, where he led all aspects of the procurement, transaction and commercial delivery for the Liverpool Street Platform Extension Project at MTR Elizabeth Line (a crucial enabling project for Europe’s largest railway infrastructure project). He is experienced in collaborative forms of contract and was responsible for embedding the use of the NEC suite of contracts within the organisation.
Luo Zhong, Finance Manager, Singapore
Luo Zhong joins us as a Finance Manager in the Singapore office. Zhong has a track record of more than 13 years of international work experience in Singapore. He is a certified Chartered Accountant and a member of the ISCA. His work experience involves accounts management in the IT, payroll and HR solutions, aviation support, shipping sector with expertise in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Taxation and Consultation. Zhong is the acting Finance Manager whilst Agnes is on maternity leave.
