Blaine Dickson, Senior Associate Consultant, Philadelphia
Blaine Dickson has more than 3 years of experience in forensic accounting. Blaine has liaised with clients on asset misappropriation investigations, anti-money laundering schemes, and whistle-blower inquiries and investigations. She has validated federal grants in the millions of dollars, updated payroll platforms and services, and mitigated financial and security risks. Blaine has also provided financial analysis and advisory services, performed internal auditing, and performed standard accounting functions for numerous clients.
Jennie Ellison, Global Learning, Development & Succession Manager, Philadelphia
Jennie has 17 years of Human Resources experience in various of industries such as retail, chemical and transportation. She specializes in learning, talent development, recruiting, policy writing, ED&I and employment engagement. Jennie holds a Master of Education, specialising in curriculum and instruction, from Kent State University.
Stacey Ferris, Associate Director, Washington DC
Stacey Ferris is a forensic accountant and Big Four fraud auditor with more than 10 years of experience in large corporate, entrepreneurial, and classified federal government environments. Stacey’s areas of expertise include complex financial audits, litigation support, data and information systems, digital assets, fraud, risk management, and risk assessment. Her technical expertise comprises emerging blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency asset accounting. Stacey joins the Washington, DC office as Associate Director.
Bryony Jones, Corporate Management Accountant, Warrington
Bryony holds a first-class honours degree in Accounting and Finance and has 4 years professional experience. In her previous positions, she has introduced a number of new processes and procedures to improve efficiencies across the finance departments. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Christopher Kane, Executive Consultant, Washington DC
Christopher Kane is a registered professional engineer, licensed attorney and certified mediator/arbitrator with over 40 years of proven leadership in project development, engineering, construction, environmental, finance and related dispute resolution. Chris has over 40 years of experience in the industry. Chris is a seasoned transaction and innovative contracting professional who provides project delivery, legal, contract and dispute mitigation advisory services on infrastructure and buildings projects.
John McDonough, Executive Consultant, Philadelphia
John McDonough is a senior healthcare facilities executive with over 35 years of extensive experience developing and leading high-performance, lean-based, and customer-focused facilities organizations in large academic medical organizations. He has developed and overseen the entire spectrum of healthcare facilities management services including real estate, capital planning, project management, planning, design, engineering, construction, facilities maintenance, and operations. John directed healthcare capital and associated real estate development projects valued at over $3 billion as well as oversaw annual capital spending ranging from $200 to $400 million involving a diverse array of over 200 projects per year in various stages of planning, design, and construction, with major capital projects ranging from $50 to $700 million.
Mohamed Idris Mir, Consultant, Dubai
Idris is a qualified Civil Engineer with over 15 years of experience with main contractors in Project & Contract management. He specialises in performing forensic delay analyses on mega construction projects and assists with dispute resolution and claims planning matters. Idris has been part of many major arbitrations, previously representing main contractors in the capacity of factual witness. His sector experience includes residential high-rise tower buildings, hotels, airports, schools, commercial buildings & industrial projects.
John O’Reilly, Director, Granite Bay
John O’Reilly has nearly 30 years of experience as an estimator in the construction industry. John has managed quantity takeoff and estimating activities for large, complex projects valued at up to $1.5B. His project experience includes airports, bridges, roads and highways, ports and maritime, rail and transit, hydroelectric facilities, combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) and fossil fuel power plants, and water treatment facilities in Afghanistan, Canada, Curacao, Panama, Puerto Rico, South Korea, and the United States. John joins the Granite Bay office as Director.
Jared Pelzer, Senior Implementation, Granite Bay
Jared Pelzer is an experienced project delivery consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. He received a Bachelors of Science Degree (BS) in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University. Jared joins the Granite Bay office as a Senior Implementation Consultant at HKA Tech.
Anne Pwapwa, Managing Consultant, Johannesburg
Anne Pwapwa is a seasoned commercial and contracts professional with over 15 years of experience in the construction industry. She has commercial, residential and infrastructure experience, and has worked both within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa on various projects with international clients. She has extensive experience in cost, risk, contracts and overall project management. Anne combines management, construction and legal knowledge, enabling her to deliver balanced opinions on the performance of those involved in projects, and objective appraisals of the appropriate or likely outcomes.
Robert P. Rizzieri, Executive Consultant, Washington DC
Robert “Bob” P. Rizzieri is an accomplished senior executive with more than 45 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Bob provides advisory services related to corporate restructuring, business development, and risk management for a variety of clients, including construction contractors, utility companies, and government agencies. Bob has worked on a variety of high-profile domestic and international multibillion-dollar mega projects and programs for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
Jordan Sandberg, Manager, Phoenix
Jordan Sandberg is a licensed CPA in the state of New York, as well as a licensed CFE. He completed his Master’s in accounting at Hofstra University with honors. He joins HKA as a Manager in the Forensic Accounting and Commercial Damages department at the Phoenix office.
Ian Tresser, Associate Director, New York
Ian Tresser has more than 7 years experience in finance and economics. Ian’s expertise includes strategic review, financial analysis, profit calculations, cost claims, asset tracing, licensing, and royalty determinations. He performs financial and economic analysis, including quantifying damages in commercial litigation matters and intellectual property disputes, and manages various aspects of engagements, including discovery, damages analysis, and report writing. Ian often works with clients in pre-litigation settings, providing financial analyses and valuation. He also performs early case assessments related to the quantum of potential damages on behalf of clients. He joins HKA as Associate Director at the New York office.
Daniel Weller, Associate Director, Abu Dhabi
Daniel is a quantity surveyor with 16 years’ experience, most recently working on disputes in the UAE and throughout the Middle East. He has previously worked as a cost planner and estimator for a major UK Contractor and as a cost manager for an international construction delivery consultant. Daniel has an LLM (Distinction) in Construction Law and Arbitration and an MSc in Construction. He is a member of RICS, as well as a RICS assessor and a Fellow of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators.
Jordan Yichun Ying, Director, Dubai
Jordan is a qualified project planner and electrical engineer with more than 25 years’ experience in contract planning, progress monitoring and reporting, corrective planning and delay analysis. Jordan has been involved in carrying out delay and disruption analyses, preparing and defending extension of time claims, assisting with the preparation of expert witness reports, and investigating delay issues for various types of projects. Jordan’s sector experience includes power (nuclear, oil and gas, coal, solar photovoltaic and hydropower), oil and gas, process facilities, road, residential and commercial development projects.
With experience working across the UK, Middle East, Africa and China, Jordan possesses extensive and diverse dispute resolution expertise and is bilingual in English and Chinese.
