HKA continues its growth in Europe with further senior executive appointments and a new office in Paris

HKA today announced that Jérôme Motton, François Michaud, Jana Lefranc and Anne-Marie Giot have joined the group based in the new French office, rue Galilée, Paris. This additional capability further enhances the firm’s commercial management, claims and forensic expert services in Continental Europe.
Jérôme, François and Anne-Marie join the group from H2O Consultancy following many years of collaboration with HKA, focusing on contract and claim management in French-speaking markets.
Jana joins from Deloitte and began her professional career in corporate finance in the Czech Republic. She has been focusing on international arbitration work since 2006, working in the Czech Republic, UK and France.
These new and experienced hires follow swiftly on from the recent appointment of WWL global elite, Anthony Charlton, a global-leading forensic accountant and commercial damages expert, and mark the beginning of HKA’s commitment to growing its presence in France. This is supported by the firm having been recently appointed by French clients to numerous significant frameworks and mandates.

Jérôme holds a Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying with 30 years’ experience in contract and claims management delivered to clients across the nuclear, defence, oil & gas, rail and civil engineering markets. Having worked in-house as a senior commercial manager for a number of years, Jérôme founded and successfully built H2O Consultancy over a twenty-two-year period, often collaborating with HKA. He is recognised for his expertise in negotiating and managing complex contractual situations and has frequently imparted this knowledge through the delivery of commercial training to client teams.
François holds a Masters Degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is a delay expert, senior contract manager and construction claim specialist with 10 years’ experience working on major engineering projects in Europe, Asia, and Australia, including nuclear power plant, oil refinery, remote mining installation, and defence projects. François is experienced in the management of dispute resolution through the preparation of claims documentation as part of arbitration, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Jana, holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting and qualified as a CFA Charterholder with the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute in 2008. She has led teams on many international disputes, being predominantly responsible for calculating the losses suffered by her clients and setting out the arguments supporting those calculations. She has experience of working for governments and clients in Central Eastern Europe, Egypt, Venezuela, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Georgia, spanning the energy, oil & gas, mining, health insurance, real estate, agriculture and telecommunications industries. Jana has also worked on several fraud investigations, including investigation of a large IT company for financial misrepresentations.
Anne-Marie will provide all administrative support to our growing team in France.
