Patrick Jensen is an economic damages, forensic accounting, and quantum expert with 14 years of experience in the government contracts, utilities, defense, and construction industries.
Patrick has consulted on financial, cost, economic, and damages analyses for matters in dispute, including providing expert witness testimony. He has also consulted on financial and accounting compliance matters related to cost issues that were not in dispute. He has worked for both plaintiffs and defendants on domestic and international matters in dispute in various venues, including U.S. federal, state, and local courts, U.S. Boards of Contract Appeals, and in arbitration and litigation. Patrick’s clients have included in-house and outside counsel for corporations and government organizations.
Patrick has worked on projects throughout North America for a variety of client sectors, including government contracts, aerospace and defense companies, industrial, infrastructure, power and utilities, and technology. His experience includes disputes and issues between owners and prime contractors, between prime contractors and subcontractors, as well as between tenants and a property owner.
Patrick also consults on matters involving compliance with U.S. federal regulations relating to cost accounting, timekeeping, billing practices, and internal investigations. He has provided assistance in various matters, including government contracts, forensic investigations, claims, breach of contract, commercial damages, lost profits, construction, manufacturing, timekeeping, and billing issues.
Patrick Jensen holds a BBA Finance and Business Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), a member of the Energy Bar Association (EBA), a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), and member of the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). He is also Co-Treasurer of the Board of Contract Appeals Board Association (BCABA).
