Fergus Taylor is a project manager with over 40 years of construction industry experience. He has acted a technical expert witness and an independent project reviewer.
Fergus has been instructed for a dispute in litigation regarding project management matters, for a commercial building project in the UK. He recently supported the named expert in a project management and cost consultant dispute, for a large hotel development in Africa, and has also supported the HKA architectural team regarding disputes surrounding cladding and rendering issues.
Fergus is a strategic specialist with a track record of consistently delivering projects to time, cost and quality. He has extensive experience in providing executive steering group advice on major and complex projects for blue chip clients, national and local government departments.
Fergus provides expert procurement advice and, through facilitated risk and value engineering workshops, ensures efficiencies on all types of building projects and development strategies; including new build, re-development, refurbishment and fit out. He has particular expertise regarding the complexities involved in the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of educational buildings where he has acted as project manager, employer’s agent, client’s technical advisor and independent project reviewer.
Fergus Taylor is a member of the Association of Project Management and holds an HNC in architectural technology. He has completed the advanced professional award in expert witness evidence as well as being professionally qualified with the Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
