Daniel Turner is a forensic accountant with over 20 years of experience. He has been appointed as an expert in both litigation and international arbitration on numerous occasions and has managed cross border investigations.
Daniel has given oral evidence in international arbitration and proceedings before the UK Technology and Construction Court. He has been the appointed expert in determinations, prepared expert reports under various court and arbitral proceedings (ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, DIAC and JCAA), and supported mediations and negotiations.
Daniel’s experience includes regional and cross border investigations (both corporate and financial) regarding insolvency and administration matters, pre-deal SPA review and advice, and post-deal SPA and completion accounts disputes. He has provided forensic services across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia in industries ranging from construction, hospitality, and sports and entertainment to oil and gas, infrastructure, and energy.
Daniel specialises in breach of contract, transactional disputes, valuations, commercial transactions, professional negligence, and loss of profit. He is highly adept in the use of digital forensics and business and corporate intelligence to identify and secure the evidence necessary to improve investigations’ outcomes.
Daniel is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He presents frequently at international arbitration and forensic accounting events and has been recognised by the Lexology Client Choice Awards in the Financial Advisory and Valuation – Quantum of Damages category.
