Interested in learning about the latest and best available information and strategies for dealing with key delay and impact claims risks and challenges? Looking for practical guidance for bringing or defending claims in an increasingly defensive market environment?
If so, register now for Osgoode Professional Development’s online program, The 2024 Guide to Managing Delay and Impact Claims in Construction, scheduled for April 9. Taught by a faculty of legal and technical experts, this full-day program will provide attendees with the latest and best available information and strategies for dealing with key delay and impact claims risks and challenges. It will also deliver practical guidance for bringing or defending claims in an increasingly defensive market environment.
During the program, Partner Maged Abdelsayed is presenting, “Managing Delay Claims and Defences: What’s New, What’s Important for 2024,” from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM ET. He will provide the latest practical and technical knowledge, insights, and expert tips to better manage or defend common types of delay claims – with distinctions for owners, contractors, and subcontractors.
Additional sessions include “’You Want It When?’ Discussion on How to Deal with an Unrealistic Schedule from Various Parties’ Perspectives,” “Overcoming Key Challenges When Working with Delay Experts for 2024,” and “The Decision-Makers Speak: Adjudicating the Delay Claim for 2024.” Several on-demand modules that cover core concepts are also included with registration.
This year’s program also features a new optional online workshop, “Working Through Key and Emerging Delay Claims Challenges for 2024.” This live, facilitated workshop will allow attendees to put into practice what they learned in the program, or in their own practice, and receive personalized support working through some of the key and emerging challenges arising in a delay claim fact scenario for 2024.
