The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and other regulators are committed to protecting investors and ensuring their investments are protected from cyber-attacks. This includes public and private investments managed by institutions and Private Equity Firms.
As damages from cybercrime are projected to reach $6 trillion in 2021 and rise all the way to an astounding $10.5 trillion (annually) by 2025, it is important for businesses to maintain and continue the fortification and development of their cybersecurity posture. As markets and industries continue to experience global growth, so too are the ever-present threats from cyber criminals.
