David Duffus has 30 years of experience providing complex litigation, forensic accounting, and valuation services for businesses ranging from start-up entities to Fortune 100 companies. David has testified as an expert at deposition and trial and in alternative dispute settings more than 90 times. He has also served as an arbitrator/neutral accountant in post-acquisition and valuation-related disputes.

Stacey Ferris is a forensic accountant and Big Four fraud auditor with more than 10 years of experience in large corporate, entrepreneurial, and classified federal government environments. Stacey’s areas of expertise include complex financial audits, litigation support, data and information systems, digital assets, fraud, risk management, and risk assessment. Her technical expertise comprises emerging blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency asset accounting. Stacey has a primary research interest in digital assets such as blockchain-based cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), and non-fungible tokens—and their legal and accounting environments.
