New York Arbitration Week 2024

Rebecca Velez, Alexander Lee, and Tyler Smith Khoury are excited to join others in the arbitration community for New York Arbitration Week 2024, which will be held from November 18 to 22 in New York City. This conference, now in its sixth year, is led by the New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC) and the New York Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIARB). Alexander Lee will serve as the panel moderator. This esteemed panel will discuss current and potential future trends in arbitrations across Latin America. The panel will focus on issues that have arisen in multiple cases and diverse jurisdictions, providing insight into the challenges faced by claimants and respondents, including the ongoing impacts of social unrest, macroeconomic stressors, and technological development on both investor-state and commercial disputes.
