2024 Construction SuperConference

HKA is thrilled to announce that Lorna Cuthbertson Tardif, Caryn Fuller, Bill Guernier, Dan Feinblum, Rahul Ratakonda, Adam Winegard, and Tracy Doyle will be in Las Vegas from December 9 to 11 for the 38th Annual Construction SuperConference. This event hosts numerous mid- to senior-level legal and commercial construction professionals for a variety of industry-specific seminars, panels, and education sessions.

This year, four of our experts were invited to participate in the program:

• On December 10 at 11:30 AM PT, Partner Bill Guernier is moderating a seminar on “Modern Cost Plus Contracts.” Speakers include Paul Bennett of Martin | Hild, P.A., Jason Boffey of Mercer Thompson LLC, and Joe Darr of Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC.
• On December 10 at 2:30 PM PT, Partner Lorna Cuthbertson Tardif is speaking on “The Pros and Cons of Incorporating International Arbitration Practices into U.S. Domestic Construction Arbitrations” alongside Rhonda Caviedes of Jacobs and Roger Peters. R.J. Chleboski of Dingess, Foster, Luciana, Davidson & Chleboski LLP is moderating.
• On December 10 at  4:15 PM PT, Partners Caryn Fuller and Dan Feinblum are speaking on “Termination of Construction Contracts: Mock Court Hearing and Live Fireworks (Metaphorically Speaking)” with James Dierking of Fluor and Mike McCauley and Daniel McMillan of Jones Day.
• On December 11 at 8:30 AM PT, Partner Caryn Fuller is moderating a panel on “Understanding Standard of Care Risks on a Construction Project.” Panelists include Chad Curran of Lane Construction and Shawn Farrell of Cohen Seglias.
