Chicago Meetup: Corporate Counsel Committee CLE and Networking Event

Join HKA Partner John Levitske as he co-chairs and co-hosts this year’s Chicago Meetup: Corporate Counsel Committee CLE and Networking Event at the American Arbitration Association’s Chicago office. Attendees will enjoy the opportunity to meet with business law professionals from the Chicagoland area for an evening of education and networking. 

John and Dredeir Roberts, General Counsel of Core States Group, will be moderating the CLE program, “Being Ahead of the Curve: Effective Management of Attorney–Client Privilege for Corporations,” during which a panel of experts will share their insights and best practices on a variety of topics, including:  

• Scope and limitations of attorney–client privilege for corporations 
• Common pitfalls and mistakes that can result in waiver or loss of privilege 
• Strategies and techniques to preserve and assert privilege in different contexts 
• Ethical and professional obligations of corporate counsel regarding privilege 

The Chicago Meetup is presented by the Business Law Section’s Corporate Counsel Committee and co-sponsored by the Business & Corporate Litigation, Corporate Governance, and Young Lawyer Committees.
