随着“一带一路”倡议推进的不断深入，越来越多具有影响力的国际工程项目逐步落地。由于国际工程项目涉及到不同的国家，不同的民族和宗教，不同的政治、社会文化和经济背景，不同的参与方及其国家的利益，因而在项目推进过程中难免产生矛盾和纠纷。同时，受全球范围新冠肺炎疫情影响，国际工程领域的纠纷也有所增长。在仲裁实务中，有关法律适用、不可抗力事件、情势变更原则的适用、工期延误鉴定及索赔问题等相关热点问题受到广泛关注。

HKA Partner Baoqiang Zheng was invited to present on critical issues in international project disputes, extension of time substantiation and analysis under COVID-19 at the 18th Corporate Legal Affairs Forum – key issues in international engineering disputes organised by the Beijing Arbitration Commission/ Beijing International Arbitration Center, Corporate Legal Affairs Research Center of the School of Law of China University of Political Science and Law, and Tianjin University International Engineering Management School.
