35th Annual Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Global Fraud Conference 

HKA encourages you to mark your calendars for the 35th Annual Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Global Fraud Conference in Las Vegas and virtually from June 23 to 28. The Pre-Conference workshops are being held on June 23 (in-person only), the Main Conference on June 24–26 (in-person and virtual), and the Post-Conference seminars on June 27 and 28 (in-person only). This six-day hybrid conference features keynote presentations, educational sessions, networking events, and an Exhibit Hall. 

HKA Partner Jeff Matthews is moderating “The ABCs of ESG: addressing fraud risks in corporate environmental, social and governance initiatives” on June 25 at 2:20 PM PT. Panelists include Jessica Magee, Partner at Holland & Knight LLP; Pam Verick, former practice leader for Protiviti and KPMG; and Michael Pocalyko, CEO at SI – Special Investigations Limited Company. Their discussion covers the fraud risk associated with corporate ESG initiatives and the importance of individual accountability.
