HKA has announced that Edward (Ed) Poon has joined the firm as Director based out of the firm’s Toronto office.
Ed has more than 13 years of experience in failure analysis and investigations on design and construction deficiencies, building envelope and building science deficiencies/failures. He is experienced in the analysis and investigation or assessment of damages pertaining to fires, explosions, vibration, ground movement, wind, snow, hail, and rain loads, vehicle impacts, and water infiltration.
Ed has a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto, is a registered P. Eng in ON, AB, BC, SK, NS and is a Registered Consulting Engineer, ON. Prior to joining HKA, Ed was a Director, Canadian Forensic Operations with Jensen Hughes.
