Daniela Alarcon, Associate Consultant, Chicago
Daniela is a Finance and International Affairs professional with an emphasis on Corporate Finance. Over the last year, she has had the experience to work as an intern at JP Morgan Asset Management. During this time, she was responsible for the creation of market analysis reports, client portfolio analysis, client onboarding and due diligence process development. She also supported the team on multiple corporate engagements, maintaining client relationships and driving key meetings. Additionally, Daniela had the experience to work while completing my undergrad, where she was able to develop an insightful financial valuation for a fast-growing start-up in Colombia, and deliver a risk analysis model to the largest Oil & Gas Company in the country. Daniela has had the opportunity to work at her university as a teaching assistant of Financial Modeling and Financial Mathematics courses, which helped improve her leadership, mentoring and teamwork skills.
Anas Al-Saadi, Senior Consultant, Brisbane
Anas is a legally qualified Civil Engineer and Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 13 years of experience on high-profile projects in a variety of capacities, including site engineer, planner, contracts manager, and claims and dispute resolution consultant. As a specialist consultant, Anas has advised owners, engineers, contractors and their counsel on claims preparation and rebuttal of claims, delay analysis, contract administration, preparation of construction contracts, and consultancy agreements. Anas has been working with HKA in the Middle East and has relocated to Brisbane.
Mohammad Barakat, Senior Associate Consultant, Mississauga (Toronto)
Mohammad Barakat is a civil engineer with more than 8 years of experience in construction management. Mohammad’s areas of expertise include contract administration, project coordination, change management, scheduling, progress reporting, and quality control and inspections. He has worked on a variety of construction projects in the Middle East.
Clarke Birrell, Manager, Washington D.C.
Clarke Birrell is a certified Global Business Professional (CGBP), with 7+ years cross-functional experience in industries such as government, international development, consulting, and education. In each role, consistently delivered results working independently and in team environments. He is a highly motivated self-starter with effective communication skills, and international experience working in Europe, Africa, and the United States. He worked as a Peace Corps volunteer from 2014-2016 in French speaking Cameroon as an Agribusiness Educator.
James Brookes, Managing Consultant, London
James is a chartered account (ACA) with several years’ combined experience in audit and forensic accounting. He began his career as a school leaver in Big4 Audit, working in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Dubai mainly in the manufacturing, hospitality and real estate sectors. He moved into forensic accounting in 2020, working for Haberman Ilett (now Kroll) on a variety of international disputes and investigations.
Mujda Baluch, Business Support Administrator, Sydney
Mujda has experience in customer service, operations and administration roles and she was a Grade 6 Administrations Team Leader/Project Officer on the NSW Health 2021 COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Program. She joins us from Service NSW. Mujda is based in Sydney.
Damith Gayanga, Senior Consultant, Doha
Damith Gayanga is an experienced Contracts and Claims Manager/Quantum Consultant with over 14 years of industry experience. He has worked on numerous, high-value and complex construction projects in Qatar, UAE and Sri Lanka. Damith holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Quantity Surveying (First Class), LLM in Construction Law and Arbitration (Distinction); and is also a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
Anna Gevorgyan, Associate Consultant, Calgary
Anna Gevorgyan is an enthusiastic and results-driven Supply Chain Management graduand from the Haskayne School of Business (HSB). She values communication, teamwork, integrity, and transparency. Her previous experience in service and material procurement, contracts management, and data analytics. Sha has a strong sense of initiative for building and maintaining relationships with mentors, faculty, and external personnel in corporate Calgary.
Elinor Griffin, Associate Consultant, Phoenix
Elinor Griffin is a graduate with honors of the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona, majoring in Finance and Management Information Systems. She joins the Phoenix office as Associate Consultant.
Austin Hake, Associate Consultant, Sydney
Austin is a goal-driven professional, eager to contribute to team success through hard work, attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. After completing his BA in Business majoring in management consultancy and risk, Austin has spent the last few years at MLC Life. Austin is based in Sydney.
Amin Jalili, Associate Director, Sydney
Amin has experience working on complex, large-scale multidisciplinary projects in the oil and gas, power, rail and infrastructure industries. He has vast experience in developing Integrating Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis (iCSRA) models using @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, Deltek Acumen, and Safran Risk. Amin is based in Melbourne.
Nicole Jury, Executive Assistant, Wellington
Nicole is a highly experienced Executive Assistant with more than 17 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors in New Zealand and the UK. Nicole has worked at a number of consulting firms, including Deloitte. Prior to joining HKA, she was the EA to the Deputy Commissioner Public Service Fale & Covid-19 Response and Recovery team at Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission. Nicole is based in Wellington.
Rony Medenilla, Managing Consultant, Doha
Rony Medenilla is an experienced Lead Planner within the Construction industry and has over 17 years of professional experience. Rony has handled various types of projects such as underground utilities, roads, buildings, hotels and multi-billion metro projects and has worked with a number of reputable Main Contractors and world-renowned Consultants. Rony is currently involved with Ashgal projects and is well-recognized by the stakeholders for her contribution towards the successful project delivery.
Thomas Morgan, Managing Consultant, Warrington
Thomas has over 12 years of experience working as a senior quantity surveyor, predominantly for main contractors in the construction industry. He has taken the lead commercial role on a variety of new build housing and apartment/extra care developments in the UK, where he has managed all the commercial and contractual aspects of the projects from the initial bid and tendering stages through to completion, on JCT, NEC and bespoke forms of contract. Thomas is currently working towards achieving professional membership with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Melvin Nagi, Associate Director, Sydney
Melvin is a cost engineer with specific skills in pre-tender cost estimation, bill of quantities, cost planning, variation assessment, tender reviewing and mechanical services commissioning. In his most recent role at WT partnership. Melvin has demonstrated knowledge and experience in building services cost estimation, managing various disciplines throughout the course of an estimate and has successfully managed client expectations to ensure deliverable timeframes are met to a high standard of quality. Melvin is based in Sydney working on Sydney Metro.
Mohammed Osman, Recruitment Resourcer, Warrington
Mohammed has vast experience of project coordination and administration working for Shell Petroleum and HSBC Bank both in the Middle East and in Europe. His experience spans various sectors including oil and gas, finance, legal and healthcare.
Orla O’Sullivan, Associate Director, Sydney
Orla has 14 years of experience in strategic business development, tendering, marketing, resourcing and stakeholder consultation. She has an in-depth knowledge of working with government agencies, in particular Transport for NSW and Sydney Metro and their supply chain, and more broadly the Australian Transport market. Recent projects include HKA’s PMOS and IDP contracts with Sydney Metro. She will work with the Advisory leadership team to develop and implement strategic business initiatives whilst also supporting our Claims and Expert services. Orla is based in Sydney.
Danielle Stanton, Business Support Administrator, Birmingham
Danielle has a strong background in all aspects of administration and business support, her experience has predominantly been acquired though 20 years of often challenging but very rewarding service within the NHS. Danielle initially began her career there as a clerical officer in radiology and from radiology then moved to a very challenging position in the critical care unit where she took on the role of PA/Administrator.
Mark Woodhouse, Director, Sydney
Mark has over 20 years’ experience working in the project controls space implementing data and Management Information (MI) strategy. Mark is highly experienced implementing MI systems across multi-billion projects and has successfully delivered high-quality MI throughout the project lifecycle to a variety of stakeholders. Mark has led reporting teams and has been accountable for the program-level reporting for boards and reporting for external stakeholders. Mark is an innovator who looks to utilise and harness the latest technology to enable efficiencies and enhance working practices through the development and delivery of Data and Information Strategies. Mark is based in Sydney.
