HKA’s Master of the Grid Competition (hereinafter referred to as the “Competition”) is organised by HKA Asia Pacific (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”).
Competition Period
The Competition Period is from 22 February 2023 to 26 November 2023 (GMT+8). The Organiser may, at its sole and absolute discretion, amend the Competition Period at any time without any prior notice to any party.
Prizes
Prize per Grand Prix race: The Participant leaderboard position will be decided based on the score obtained after each race. The eligible top scorer of each race will be given the opportunity to donate US$100, funded by HKA, to an HKA-approved charity.
In the event of a draw, the race winner will be determined by which prediction was received first.
Major Prize: The Participant leaderboard position will be decided based on the total score obtained after all 23 races in the 2023 Season. The eligible top scorer will receive the Major Prize. In the event of a draw, the prize will be split between the top scorers or the prize will be changed at the Organiser’s discretion. The Organiser’s decision shall be final.
The Organiser may, at its discretion and at any time, alter the game rules and/or the prizes offered for a particular race or the Major Prize.
Entries
Only one competition entry per person is permitted. If the Organiser identifies a Participant has more than one entry in the Competition, they will be disqualified.
A Participant can join the Competition at any point during the Competition Period.
Eligibility
To enter the Competition:
- You must be a resident of Australia (NSW, Victoria, Queensland, WA), Singapore or Malaysia.
- You must be over 18 years of age.
To collect the Major Prize, the winner will be required to provide the information required by the Organiser for verification purposes.
Employees of the Organiser are ineligible to win the Major Prize.
The Organiser reserves all rights, at any time, to:
- Verify the validity of entries and Participants.
- Disqualify entries that are late, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, lost, illegible or invalid.
- Reject any Participant’s entry at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reasons whatsoever.
- Modify, suspend, cancel or terminate a competition or extend or resume the entry period.
- Disqualify any Participant or entry at any time without giving advance notice.
General
- By participating in this Competition, the Participant agrees for the Organiser to use any information and material submitted for this Competition, with or without modification, for their services, marketing campaign and brand marketing globally, without any further notice to the Participant.
- The Organiser, its employees and its third-party service providers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the Participants or by any person in connection with the Competition. All Participants assume liability for any loss, injury, damage or claim that may arise from participating in the Competition or redemption of any Prize.
- The Participant agrees and provides consent to the Organiser to use any personal data, as provided by the Participant, for the purpose of participation in this Competition in line with the HKA’s Global Privacy Policy as stated at https://www.hka.com/privacy-policy/ and other applicable laws, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and used by the Organiser for lawful purpose directly related to the running of this Competition. This includes but is not limited to the purposes of promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and organisation of this Competition.
- By providing personal data, the Participant indicates that they have read, understood and agreed to be bound by HKA’s Privacy Policy as stated at https://www.hka.com/privacy-policy/. The Participant agrees that the Organiser and/or its third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email or other methods in relation to this Competition.
- In the event any Prizes are being awarded to the Participant having provided false or mistaken identity or information, Organiser shall have the right to revoke the Participant’s eligibility for the said Prizes.
- All Prize images are for reference only. Prizes shown and/or represented for the running of this Competition shall be subjected to availability and change at the discretion of Organiser.
- By participating in the Competition, Participants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of this Competition and Organiser’s decisions are final and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained. HKA reserves the right to the final and ultimate interpretation of this Competition.
- By participating in the Competition, the Participants agree to participate and cooperate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition. The Participants agree to grant Organiser a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs, voice, biographical information and/or statements, at any time or times, in all media types worldwide for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
- If Participants are discovered to be using or have used improper means to participate in this Competition, Organiser reserves the right to cancel the eligibility without notice.
- Organiser reserves all the rights at all times to modify or amend the Terms and Conditions of this Competition or to cancel it with immediate effect without giving any prior notice to any party.
