HKA announced today that Alex Lee has joined HKA in Glasgow to lead its new Environment and Climate Change expert capabilities within its global Forensic Technical Services (FTS) team. 

Alex is a Chartered Geologist and Scientist with 25+ years’ experience in his field. He holds a PhD in Geology and an MSc in Environmental Modelling and Monitoring. He is a technical specialist in risk assessment, contaminated land, hydrogeology and remediation design. 

Before joining HKA, Alex was a Technical Director at WSP in the UK where he was a long-term member of the senior management team, involved in all aspects of management. He was also national technical lead regularly acting as an expert witness, providing opinion on technically complex matters.

As part of the FTS team, Alex will lead the recently launched Environment and Climate Change discipline, offering clients access to expert witnesses skilled in a variety of specialisms, including environmental science, regulatory and compliance, land remediation, climate performance, ecology, waste and contaminated land.
