Sam is a well-respected Rail and Project Controls Industry Leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can deliver industry expertise, identify areas for improvement and provide strategic insights. A career built over 23 years, Sam’s expertise ranges across project development, project progress tracking and forensic analysis on various large-scale projects both internationally and locally.

Sam brings a wealth of experience to clients, having worked on major projects with public and private sector clients in the Middle East and across different states in Australia.

He has a comprehensive understanding of the potential schedule risks and uncertainties associated with every phase of the project cycle. He is passionate about planning and project controls and is renowned in the industry for providing clients and peers with best-practice industry advice. He led PMO scheduling aspects on a number of client business cases in the transaction phase and delivery phase and was involved in a number of forensic delay analyses beyond project practical completion.

Additionally, Sam has due diligence experience, specific to PPP (Public Private Partnership) or D&C (Design and Construct) procured transport projects, in particular construction performance monitoring.

Over the last 15 years, I have specialised in project controls, where I’m particularly interested and passionate about schedule management, schedule risk analysis, constructability and buildability deep-dive reviews, uplifting organisational capability and industry best practices to create and deliver mutually beneficial client value for money and meet projects deadlines.
