Chicago Bar Association webcast – Construction claims: working with experts

HKA Partner Kim Reome is presenting a webcast titled “Construction claims: working with experts” on June 3 at 12:15 PM CT. Kim will discuss best practices for working with experts on construction claims, expert considerations in different dispute venues, strategies for withstanding expert challenges, and construction claim calculation considerations. Presented by The Chicago Bar Association’s Construction Law and Mechanics Lien Subcommittee, this hybrid program has a virtual option and in-person option at The Chicago Bar Association. Kim Reome, Partner 

Kim Reome is a financial professional with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Kim has undertaken more than 40 expert commissions in matters related to construction damages and delay, quantum, forensic accounting, and commercial damages. She has authored expert reports, provided testimony in federal and civil courts and domestic and international arbitration, and testified in front of regulatory commissions. Kim has also served as a damages expert for a broad range of clients on damages matters in excess of $8B.  

Kim is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional and Certified Fraud Examiner. She has earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in finance. Kim is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEi), Women Construction Owners & Executives (WCOE), the American Bar Association (ABA), and U.S. Women in Nuclear (US WIN).
